Untold_ announces its arrival in Peru with the opening of The Juju and Untold_ Media, their creativity and media agencies. Both will be led by Andrés Briceño.
Andrés will undertake this challenge with his more than 10 years of experience in the advertising and media industry, to develop and provide creative, highly-relative content.
Humberto Polar, current Creative Director of Mexico, will also join the project as Director of Peru, by sharing not only his knowledge of the market in his country of origin but also his experience as one of the most successful advertisers in Latin America.
This new branch joins the existing ones in Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Mexico City, Medellin, Miami and Sao Paulo, where Untold_ currently offers integrated communication services.
“I am more than happy with this new challenge. Peru’s advertising and media industry is undergoing numerous changes. On the one hand, traditional agencies are merging to integrate capabilities, while on the other, creative boutiques seek to become the answer to a paradigm shift. The purpose of Untold_ is to rethink the service proposal in the Peruvian market, within an agile, comprehensive and innovative model”, explained Andrés. “This is a business based on trust and people as the fundamental pieces to create and challenge the status quo, which is what we intend to do” he concluded.
“It is a great joy for me to return to the Peruvian market and to support Andrés in this enterprise that grows every day across the Americas. I know this market very well, I had already returned to my country between 2012 and 2016 with great success, many awards, happy customers and important innovations. 5 years later, and at a crucial moment for the transformation of the advertising business, I am excited to envision what we are capable of achieving and contributing in Peru”, stated Humberto Polar.
“Peru is not just another milestone in our growth as an ecosystem, but also a consequence of the story we started writing 6 years ago”, commented Darío Straschnoy, CEO & Founder of Untold_. “At the beginning, The Juju emerged as an independent agency in Argentina and Colombia, and with the expansion in Mexico, Brazil and Peru, today we see and define ourselves not only as a consolidated agency but also as an independent region,” he added.
