Ágora Strategic Communications & Public Affairs announces the arrival of Everton Schultz as a new partner and President of the Brazil office. The executive will bring his experience of more than 20 years working in the communications market with a significant focus on innovation.
Everton’s arrival strengthens the agency’s regional presence and will add Brazil to a network that already spans Argentina, Colombia and Mexico.
Schultz has vast experience in the communications market: he has worked at large firms such as BASF and Whirlpool and leading agencies in Brazil and across the world. Over the past nine years he has run the Strategy, Analytics and Creativity department of the global agency Weber Shandwick, where he was executive Vice-President for the Brazilian operation with regional responsibilities. He led the integration of the agency with the global operation after the acquisition of the Brazilian company S2Publicom by the Interpublic group in 2010 and more recently was in charge of the incorporation of the digital agency Capuccino into the network, helping to expand the American agency’s digital reach in Brazil.
“The communications market is experiencing profound transformations. The model of Ágora and the Untold_ collective is in line with what I believe to be necessary to provide clients with genuine value,” said Everton. “It also allows for greater customization because of the independence of the model; it being a genuinely Latin American ecosystem allows us to serve local and global companies with greater consistency,” he added.
“We’re very happy that Everton is joining Ágora and the Untold_ ecosystem. He has an innovative spirit and an entrepreneurial attitude, both of which are key characteristics of our model,” said Darío.
