    A New Agency with a Presence Throughout Latin America Enters the Brazilian Market

    Agora Public Affairs & Strategic Communications, a Latin American consultancy that combines different services including strategic communications, public affairs and research, has just opened its first office in Brazil. Based in Sao Paulo, its partners are Cristina Iglecio (President) and Gerson Penha (Executive Director), both professionals with 15 years’ experience in leadership positions at major agencies in Brazil, providing consultancy services to national and global companies.

    Agora Public Affairs & Strategic Communications is part of an ecosystem of professionals who adapt their models and formats to meet their clients’ needs. Founded in 2014, the group is run by Darío Straschnoy, who was president of Young & Rubicam Argentina for 25 years.

    “We’re very happy to be bringing a new model of consultancy to Brazil that emphasizes the strategic dimension of communications in achieving business objectives,” said the President of Agora Brazil, Cristina Iglecio. The regional team includes professionals such as Santiago Lacase, Miguel Ángel Herrera and Luis Costa, specialists in public affairs, reputation management and research.

    In just over two years working in Latin America, Agora has worked with major clients such as L’Oréal, Nestlé, Quilmes, Tyco and Adidas, among other global brands. In addition to Sao Paulo, the consultancy has offices in Buenos Aires and Bogotá and partner offices throughout the region.

    Developed in accordance with its own bespoke processes and methodologies, the agency’s services include Key Stakeholders Mapping and Engagement and Thought Leadership programs, Crisis and Issues Management, Market and Reputation research, Scenario Analysis and Training. All these services are focused on strategic communications and relationship with key audiences in corporate and public organizations.
